I spotted an article about another gadget that I don't need yet want. I got a model marked as 1700-OOONO from some unused stocks for nearly no price (compared to shipping costs), but I didn't manage to make it working with the Android nor iOS app.
My theory is that only models ooono co-driver no1 or ooono co-driver no2 are supported and this my older version is end-of-life by the producer. I contacted the German support, but what I only got was an endless loop of questions about whether I have an up-to-date phone or if I changed the battery.
Long story short: avoid the Ooono model where the gray text in the middle has "O" in blue.
